Hey guys, I have played around with this idea before, of finding out how all the parents got to where the are. You get a lot of hints and insights into their past in the show, and I always thought it would be interesting to go back and see how it all happened, how Sandy got to Berkley, and about his relationship with Rebecca. We could also see how Jimmy and Kirsten were as a couple, and we could see how the abortion came about, and when Julie came into the picture. Anyway there is a lot to see and know about their past, and this is just a beginging, but if you guys like it, I have plenty of story to tell you guys. so here is part one of The Pre OC
“What is it about this kid?”
“I was this kid.”
Sitting on his bed, just down the hall from where the fight was taking place, Sandy knew he had to get out of there, just hearing his father yell at his mom like that made Sandy want to run down the hall and punch him square in the face, but he couldn’t, all he could do was listen.
“Just go on, get out of here!” Sophie yelled at her husband.
“Oh I’m going alright, and you won’t have to put up with me again, how’s that?”
“Why don’t you just get the hell out of here!”
As soon as the door slammed, Sandy knew it was the last he would ever hear or see of his Father. Having his Mother work all the time was bad enough, but now without a Father figure, she would have to work extra hard to take care of the family. With his older brother Mike, and his older Sister Stephanie, Sandy didn’t want to be another burden for his Mom to take care of.
Inside he was hoping and praying that he would get a scholarship to some college far away, that way he could leave behind all the mess of his family, and his father leaving. Sandy could start a new life for himself.
Not too long after the door slammed, another door slammed, and Sandy knew it was his Mom’s bedroom door. Lying there on his bed that night, Sandy listened to his Mother crying, and it hurt. He knew it would hurt her if he left, but it would be for the best, for both of them.

Hey guys, I don't know if anyone here likes this idea, but it has always interested me. So if you liked part one, here is part 2 to the Pre OC.
"Kirsten honey, I'm going to be going out for a bit to help your father at the Newport group. I'll be back later and I'll make us some supper ok?"
"Ok Mom"
Kirsten knew what would really happen. Anytime her Mom said she was going to help at the Newport group, what she really meant was she was going out drinking. Usually she would have a fight with her Father, like they had earlier that afternoon, then she would make up some phoney excuse to leave. Later that night she would stumble in drunk, so Kirsten wouldn't see, but despite her mothers efforts, Kirsten knew full well what was going on.
At least now she had the house to herself, and she could cal Jimmy to have him come over.
"Hey Jimmy, what are you doing for dinnner tonight?"
"Um probably eating with my parents, why?"
"Well I'm going to have the place to myself tonight, why don't you come over, and I can cook us some dinner."
"Uh sure I guess so, only one condition."
"What's that?"
"Let me do the cooking ok."
"Ha Ha very funny."
"Ok, see you ay 7."
Sitting on the tattered lawn chair out front of the trailer, Julie wondered why she had been born into such circumstances. She knew there was far more to life than having to barely scrape by, living in a broken down trailer. Sure she had her family, but that was starting to not be enough. Julie had to escape somehow. She wanted a different life than the one she was living.
"Hey Sis, what're you doing out here?"
"Oh, hey Cindy, yeah I was just thinking about things."
"Well can you think about things in the car, I'm starving. I was thinking about getting some of the double double cheese burgers with extra sauce, you know those are your favorite."
Cindy was a great sister, but sometimes, Julie felt like she was too comfortable in this lifestyle. She didn't want to escape like Julie did.
After school let out that day, Sandy decided to finally take some action. After the fight the other night, he couldn't just sit and let things fall to fate. He had to at least try to get a scholarship, so stopping at the principals office, he grabbed a bunch of scholarship forms. With his grades, and SAT scores, Sandy had to get a scholarship to at least one of the schools he had in his pile of forms. Not wanting his mother to know, Sandy hid them in his backpack, but once he was alone and in his room, he would start to fill them out. Things were defininitly going to change, and as of that night, Sandy was starting to do something about it.
Let me know if you guys like it so far, and you want me to continue ok.
